The gold standard in wrinkle reduction, Botox® has been a proven and safe wrinkle reducer.  It is the first FDA approved injectable used to temporarily reduce forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet. It works by preventing the injected facial muscles from contracting, causing the wrinkles to soften and relax.  The results are subtle but predictable so you look like you, but with less noticeable facial lines.  Results typically last 3 to 6 months.

A newer alternative to Botox®, Xeomin® has been touted as the "naked injection".   The additives have been removed, leaving the botulinum A toxin in it's purest form.  This option is ideal for those who are worried about resistance to Botox® or who have a history of skin hypersensitivity reactions.  Pricing, duration of action, and safety are comparable to Botox®.

The most well-known filler injectable, Juvéderm® is used to add volume to your face.  It works by filling in the wrinkles instead of relaxing the muscles.  The active ingredient, hyaluronic acid, is a natural agent responsible for our own skin elasticity.  The most commonly used areas for fillers are the nasolabial folds, mouth lines, and lips.  Results are immediate and typically last 6 to 12 months.

Revanesse® Versa is the only hyaluronic acid dermal filler in the US available in a 1.2mL syringe size.  This is a multi-purpose filler that can be used to correct both fine and deep wrinkles such as the nasolabial folds.  Its smooth and homogeneous consistency also makes it ideal for lip enhancement.  This filler has been shown to be comparable to other HA fillers in terms of efficacy, but has also been shown to cause less swelling.
